TERMS & REFUND POLICY
 

At CR Woodworks, we take pride in delivering top-quality custom-built furniture to our customers.

 

The Lead Time for Custom-Built Furniture:

Lead time for each custom piece will vary depending on the specific order and can range from 2 to 8 weeks. To ensure prompt delivery, kindly review the product description for the estimated lead time of your that particular piece. If any changes or modifications are required, they must be submitted within 5 calendar days of the order date. Our team will notify the customer via email or text 3-4 days prior to the completion of the order, and the customer must pick up the furniture within 7 business days. A storage fee of $5 per day will be added to the invoice for any delays beyond this time frame.

Pick-Up Window :

After receiving notification of order completion, customer is required to pick up furniture within 7 business days. Check out our Business Hours, Tuesday through Saturday.

Storage Fee Policy:

In the event that you are unable to pick up your furniture within the 7-business-day window, a storage fee will be incurred. A storage fee of $5 per day will be added to the invoice for any delays beyond this time frame.

Maximum Storage Fee and Abandonment Policy:

 The maximum storage fee charged will be capped at $150, which is equivalent to 30 days of storage post-completion notification. In the unfortunate event that your furniture is not picked up within 30 days post-completion notification, it will be considered abandoned. Abandoned furniture may be disposed of or used at our discretion.

We encourage you to contact us immediately if you foresee any issues with picking up your furniture within the specified timeframe. Our team is here to assist and may be able to offer solutions or accommodations depending on the circumstances.

Inspection and Responsibility:

Upon pickup, the customer is expected to thoroughly inspect the custom-built furniture.

Transporting Materials:

Please be aware that customers are responsible for bringing their own transporting materials. CR Woodworks does not provide blankets, ropes, or any other materials for securing furniture during transport. It's important to come prepared with the necessary items to protect and secure your furniture during transit.

Safe Transportation:

 While we offer help with loading, it is important for you to know that it is the customers responsibility for securing and fastening the furniture onto their vehicle.

Guidance for Customers Using Delivery Services:

If you choose to employ a delivery service for transporting your furniture, we recommend inspecting the furniture at our location prior to scheduling the delivery. This inspection is vital to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the condition of your furniture before a third party handles it.

Payment Policy for Delivery Services:

Full payment for the furniture must be made before it can be loaded onto any delivery service vehicle. This policy is in place to ensure a transparent and efficient transaction process.

Responsibility After Leaving the Premises:

After the furniture has been loaded and leaves our premises, CR Woodworks is not liable for any damages that may occur during transportation or after the customer departs with their items. We strongly advise taking every precaution to safely transport your custom-built furniture.

Warranty:

We offer a 90-day warranty on all custom furniture, which includes repairs for major cracks or splits in the wood. Our handcrafted wood furniture is unique and individual, and therefore, no warranty is provided for the natural variations and imperfections inherent in the solid wood material; which include, wood grain, texture and stain color. Customers are responsible for bringing the custom furniture to our CR Woodworks workshop for repairs and pickup. We do not provide furniture transportation or materials.

The Characteristics of Handcrafted Wood Furniture:

Given the hand-made and hand-finished nature of our products, natural variations and imperfections in the wood should be expected and celebrated. Each piece of furniture is unique, reflecting the individuality of the tree from which it was crafted. This results in a unique grain pattern and slight color variation.

Our handcrafted, solid wood furniture features notable characteristics such as open knots, visible brush strokes, micro-imperfections, and textural variations in the hand-brushed finishes. The furniture may also exhibit unique distress marks, exposed screws, wood filler marks, joint lines, and distinctive nicks, splits, cracks, and other imperfections. We allow for up to approximately 1 inch of variation across all measurements due to the custom nature of the handcrafted furniture we create.

It is important to note that solid wood is a natural material and may expand and contract with changes in temperature and humidity. This may result in wider gaps between boards on a traditional table top over time, which can be easily cleaned and only adds to the one-of-a-kind beauty of handcrafted, solid wood furniture. Please note that individuals who do not appreciate natural variations and imperfections should not purchase handcrafted furniture.

We have the right to cancel any order: 

CR Woodworks reserves the right to cancel any order at any time for any reason. This policy allows our business to ensure that we are able to fulfill commitments to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. By holding the right to cancel orders, CR Woodworks is able to maintain control over their production schedule and manage any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the course of fulfilling an order. If this occurs, we will inform the customer of the cancellation and initiate the process of refunding the payment. The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice. However, the time taken for the refund to reflect in the customer's account may vary based on their bank's processing time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and will do our best to resolve the situation in a timely and efficient manner. Ultimately, this policy helps to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and the successful completion of each project.

Prices are subject to change: 

Our prices are subject to change due to various reasons such as fluctuations in material costs, labor costs, and inflation. The market price of raw materials can vary greatly, which can directly impact the cost of our products. In addition, inflation and economic conditions can also impact the cost of our products. We are constantly monitoring these factors and making adjustments to our prices as necessary. However, we assure our customers that despite the changes in price, we will always maintain the high level of quality in all our products and services. We believe in providing value to our customers and strive to offer competitive pricing while maintaining our commitment to quality and excellence.

Payments and Refund Policy:

For Orders with remaining balances, payment must be paid in full at the time of pickup or before delivery. All sales are FINAL, and NO REFUNDS will be provided. By making payment, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
