Our rustic wood valances are handcrafted from solid pine, hand-distressed, and made to your custom size. Whether you're going for farmhouse, cottage, or something clean and simple, this wood valance gives your space that finished, intentional look.

Each valance is made to mount above your window with a clean overhang on both sides for a built-in feel. The total overhang is 2" on each end—1.25" of inside clearance plus ¾" of wood frame thickness. For example, choosing a 60” window width means your valance will be built to 64” in total length. We size them to fit your window, not a one-size-fits-all box store standard.

• Valance height:
   • 5” height for windows up to 72”
   • 7” height automatically applied to valances 78” and longer

• Valances 78” and longer will ship in two sections, joined with a heavy-duty metal connector bracket for a seamless, secure fit once installed

• Pre-installed keyhole brackets for wall mounting

• Wall anchors and screws included

• Ships fully assembled and ready to install

How to measure:

Please select your window width from the dropdown above. This should be the full measurement from one outer edge of your window trim to the other (not just the glass).

We’ll automatically build your valance to size by adding a 2” overhang on each end—that’s 1.25" of inside clearance to slip over your windoow,  plus ¾" of wood thickness.

If your window doesn’t fall into one of the listed sizes, send us your window width, we can definitely do custom dimensions. 

Build Time 
All of our pieces are handcrafted one at a time with care. Standard completion time for this item is 1-2 weeks.
